This “Comedy Tragedy” book folding pattern allows you to create your own folded book art as pictured in the book above. The pattern requires 294 folds so you will need a book (preferably hard backed) with at least 598 pages and which is a minimum of 21 cms tall.
The pattern is a template style with easy to read columns, which makes it more straightforward and quicker to use than most book folding patterns available. You do not need to measure and mark each page of the book before folding (who has time to do this on every sheet of a large book!). This pattern is a downloadable product and no physical item will be shipped. I love this pattern! I bought the comedy/tragedy masks. I went to a used bookstore and bought a book of scripts for $5 to fold for my sister, who is about to graduate college with a Theatre degree. The pattern took about four hours to complete once I got all the materials. It was fun and addictive, similar to a jigsaw puzzle. I’ll definitely be doing more book folding in the future!
